Introduction

Red Gables Apartment is a luxuriously appointed two bedroom apartment set across the ground floor of a substantial Grade II listed Victorian building with Panoramic views of the North Sea.

Originally built as the Marine Hotel at the end of the 19th Century, the building was converted to a girls school in the 1920s and finally split into two public houses and a masons lodge after the war.

In 2002 we received permission to convert the old Britannia pub into three luxury apartments and a cottage. Red Gables Apartment occupies the whole ground floor and has been available as holiday let since 2008.

By Air from Durham Tees Valley in Middleton St. George, which is approximately a thirty minute drive from Saltburn.

By Train from Saltburn Train Station, a short walk from the apartment, where you can catch trains directly to Middlesbrough and Darlington, where you can change for the East Coast Mainline Services to London Kings Cross or Edinburgh.
